Mission Statement

The Marion County Democratic Party’s vision is to support and defend our democracy. The Democratic Party proudly provided American families with a vital social safety net. We championed labor laws, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act. As Democrats, our mission is to elect candidates at local, state, and national levels who not only support preserving these historic Democratic programs, but also continue building a more secure, inclusive, safe, and prosperous nation that meets the needs of all individuals.
